Golf Putting Alignment Mirror
Golf Putting Alignment Mirror — Eye Line, Shoulders and Face Aim
Almost every putt you miss inside two metres starts before the stroke does. If your eyes sit inside or outside the ball, or your shoulders are open to the target, the putter face has to compensate — and it usually doesn't compensate the same way twice. A putting alignment mirror shows you all of it at address, in real time, without needing a coach standing over you.
Set the mirror down, place your ball on the marked spot and look at your reflection. You can see instantly whether your eyes are over the ball, whether your shoulders are square, and whether the putter face is genuinely aimed where you think it is. As a putting training aid it works on the practice green, on a mat at home, or on the carpet in front of the television. Redback Sport is Australian-owned and has supplied golfers, pro shops and courses since 2003.
Eye position is the fault most golfers never diagnose. If your eyes are inside the ball line, you will tend to see the target left of where it actually is and push putts to compensate. Outside the line does the reverse. An eye line putting mirror makes this visible in a second, and once you have felt the correct position a few times it becomes your natural setup.
Shoulder alignment is the second fault, and it hides well. A player can be aimed perfectly with the putter face and still have shoulders open to the target line, which pulls the stroke off path. The reflection shows both shoulders at once, so you can square them without guessing.
Face aim is the third. Most golfers who believe they are aiming at the hole are actually aimed several degrees off, and the miss looks like a stroke problem when it is really an aim problem. A golf alignment trainer removes the doubt entirely — you can see where the face points rather than trusting how it feels.
Ten minutes a week is enough. Unlike most training aids, a golf putting mirror needs no space and no setup, so it works on a bedroom carpet as well as a practice green. That is why it stays in use long after other putting practice aid Australia golfers buy end up in the garage.
